What's new for 2026

Program Details

  • FREE vouchers are provided by the El Paso County Environmental Division for mattress and box spring recycling.
  • Registration is required. Both Page 1 (name and email and Page 2 (home address) must be completed. Incomplete registrations will be disqualified. Please note, being on the email notification list is not automatic registration for an event. You must complete the registration process through the EventBrite Registration.
  • Participation is limited. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
  • Limit of 4 pieces per voucher. No exceptions. Additional items must be paid for directly by the participant.
  • One voucher per household per year. Duplicate registrations will be removed.
  • Proof of El Paso or Teller County residency is required at drop-off. (Driver’s license, utility bill, bank statement, lease, etc.)
  • Eventbrite tickets are not valid. Urban Recycling will only accept participants on the approved voucher list.
  • This program is for households only. Business or commercial waste will not be accepted.

Important Notes

To maintain fairness to all residents, any participant who fails to attend without providing reasonable prior notice of cancellation will be disqualified from participating in future 2026 events.
